MBC Radio 2 – 92.2 FM Blantyre
Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC Radio 2) started broadcasting service on frequency 92.2 FM under the act of parliament in 1964. Radio 2 is opened by the president of Malawi Dr Bakili Muluzi and is represented on 17th July 1997. It started transmission on 1st April 1999 as the first public television in the country then government merge both radio and television service. It has 98% market share and 72% of the radio share. It is a perfect medium to communicate social and commercial messages.
